Jeff R. Svenningsen - Project Director Mr. Svenningsen brings to HighPointe more than 20 years experience in consulting, project management and all aspects of electrical, structural and mechanical engineering. Mr. Svenningsen provides industry expertise with exceptional design skills and proven problem-solving abilities in all phases of spectrum analysis, broadcasting, satellite music networks, and technical and commercial facilities. Prior to HighPointe, Mr. Svenningsen managed all technical and telecommunications leasing at the World Trade Center as Project Manager and Resident Engineer of the World Trade Center Construction and Project Management Division for Port Authority. Mr. Svenningsen managed the installation of the eight major broadcasting stations, four radio stations, HDTV, more than 200 communication-type tenants, and all broadcast and non-broadcast antenna systems, including all microwave, laser links, and fiber optic cabling throughout the World Trade Center complex. He managed technical tenant construction upgrades on the rooftop and main antenna mast, implemented numerous Port Authority capital improvement contracts and in-house alterations, and consulted with the leasing and legal departments on technical matters. As Resident Engineer, Mr. Svenningsen worked daily with major networks such as NBC, CBS and ABC, communication companies such as MCI, Sprint, and Bell Atlantic, and non-broadcast tenants such as Motorola, Lo-Jack and NYC Police communications as technical liaison for Pinnacle Communications. Prior to that, Mr. Svenningsen served as Manager of Technical Operations for ABC Television Network, where he was involved in technical construction buildout for the networks and all owned and operated stations. He also oversaw engineering and technical management issues, supervised the construction of ABC Radio Enterprises offices and studio, and advised ABC’s Broadcast Operations and Engineering Division for Television. Mr. Svenningsen holds advanced degrees from New York University in electrical engineering, recording and acoustics. He is a member of the Technical Advisory Services for Attorneys, Building Owners and Managers Association and the Audio Engineering Society. |
