NEW YORK, Oct. 1 /PRNewswire/ -- HighPointe Group, LLC, a leading telecommunications site consulting and management company, today announced the acquisition of Site Spectrum Management Corp., a move which dramatically expands HighPointe's portfolio of sites under management to more than 3,000. HighPointe has acquired the Spectrum Site Management assets from a subsidiary of Crown Castle International Corp.

The Spectrum Site acquisition signals further consolidation and resettling within the tower management segment, with third-party management firms like HighPointe providing a singular focus on rooftop management issues. HighPointe chairman Jud Pankey noted that building owners will derive greater benefits from an outsourced rooftop management partner built around maximizing income from managed sites with a proactive customer service approach. Carriers and broadcasters, as well, said Pankey, will benefit from having access to more points of contact for processes like license application and equipment installation as well as an expedited engineering and equipment review processes. HighPointe continues to grow organically, as well, and is pursuing other potential acquisitions.
